Veghel is a working town. Vanderlande, Sligro, Jumbo and Mars all have their base here, and with them come engineers, planners and managers from abroad who need a house close to work. Much of what they buy is new or recent housing along the river Aa and around the centre, where the interior often needs finishing, and a share of older homes with timber frames that need regular exterior maintenance.

The three services we are asked for most in Veghel are airless spray finishing of walls and ceilings, exterior painting of frames and fascias, and wood rot repair. We usually combine the last two into a single job with one warranty certificate.

Timing is often the deciding factor for international staff. A new hire arrives with a start date and a container on the way, and the house has to be ready in between. We are used to that: give us the key date and the moving date at the free inspection and we plan the spray finishing and painting to be completed, inspected and dry before the furniture comes through the door.

Schijndel has a strong identity of its own and a lot of detached houses with extensive timber: frames, dormers, garage doors and cladding. That is where our wood rot repair expertise earns its keep, because a detached house has more end grain and more exposed elevations than a terrace, and problems tend to show up on the weather side first.

Sint-Oedenrode and Erp are smaller and more village-like, and Nijnsel, Olland and Boskant are ribbon villages with older houses along the main road. In all of them we work the same way: a free inspection, an honest opinion on what needs doing, and a fixed contact person from quote to handover.

Meierijstad connects our Eindhoven and Den Bosch service areas, and we drive through it daily. Collective projects are welcome: when several houses in one street are painted in the same period, we can plan them as one run.
