Painter Oss

The pharmaceutical cluster in Oss brings in researchers and specialists from all over the world, and many of them buy rather than rent. What they buy varies a lot: early 20th-century workers houses near the old Bergoss factory, family homes from the 1960s and 1970s in the ring of post-war neighbourhoods, and new-build in developments such as De Rusheuvel and Schadewijk.

The older houses almost always have original softwood frames, doors and fascias, and it is common for a new owner to discover that the previous owner skipped a maintenance cycle or two. We inspect free of charge, explain what we find, and quote for painting and any repair in one itemised document.

Ravenstein, Lith and Megen are small historic towns on the river Maas, with listed houses, dyke houses and old farmsteads. Timber on a dyke faces wind and river damp from one side and the road from the other, and it deteriorates faster than timber in a sheltered street. For these properties we use breathable systems with high moisture resistance and carry out wood rot repair with epoxy before painting, so that the repair lasts as long as the coating.

A recent project in nearby Berghem shows the combination at work: a complete exterior repaint together with extensive wood rot repair, delivered as a single job with one warranty certificate.

In the new-build neighbourhoods the request is different again. Owners in De Rusheuvel and Schadewijk mostly want the interior finished: walls and ceilings spray-finished in one pass, doors and frames painted, and the whole house ready before the furniture arrives. We plan that kind of job to the day, because the moving date rarely moves.
